School Supply Drive

Now Through The End Of July

SCHOOL IS OVER FOR THE SUMMER, BUT THE SCHOOL SUPPLY SALES HAVE JUST BEGUN! OUR ANNUAL DRIVE BEGINS NEXT WEEK

Every year we collect new school supplies and backpacks for the Mechanicville Area Community Services Center for distribution to students in the Mechanicville, Stillwater, Hoosic Valley and Waterford school districts. Keep an eye out for sales at local stores so your purchases can help children get the necessary items to succeed throughout the school year. Donations may be left in the Atrium or between the Faith Formation doors with the food drop off. Last year, due to your generosity, 200 backpacks filled with supplies were given to children in need! Thank you for being so willing to help others!

Youth Ensemble

6 Week Collaborative Summer Program

St. Edward's, St. Mary's, and Corpus Christi are excited to offer a 6-week collaborative summer program for youth interested in making music! Rehearsal will be held on the same day as Mass, and music will be distributed at least 2 weeks before the scheduled Mass. Singers in grades 7-12 and instrumentalists, NYSSMA level IV or higher are welcome.


Rehearsals will be held on the day of Mass.

July 18 - St. Ed's - Rehearsal at 1:30 pm for 4 pm Mass

August 2 - St. Mary's, Crescent - Rehearsal at 4:30 pm for 7 pm Mass

August 15 - Corpus Christi - Rehearsal at 1:30 pm for 4 pm Mass.

Mental Health Support Group

St. Ed's Behavioral Mental Health Ministry is sponsoring a monthly support group for family and friends who are helping loved ones navigate through mental health challenges. The support group facilitator is Kevin Moran, a psychiatric social worker with over 25 years of experience in mental health care. The support group will be held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in the social hall. Please mark your calendars for the following 2026 dates: 9/10, 10/8 & 12/10 (no support group in July or August). All information shared by participants at the support group is confidential.

We’ll take your information and arrange a training session.

He is fundraising to build 3 obstacles (a jumping hoop, an adjustable jumping hurdle, and a tunnel with a bridge) at the Mary Jane Row Dog Park in Clifton Park. Join us after all Masses on Sunday, May 17th to help support this project!
