FR. Robert Scott Council # 11064 was founded on March 27, 1993. The first meeting was held on April 5, 1993. It is named after FR. Robert Scott, who was the first Pastor at Saint Edward the Confessor Church. Originally, the Council met at the Clifton Park Elk's Lodge followed by the ARC until the Parish Center became available. Our first Grand Knight was Richard Doherty. Many of the founding members of our Council are still active members.
The FR. Robert
Scott Council is located at the Church and meets in the social hall.
The Grand Knight for 2006-2007 is Wayne Burdge. Meetings: First and
Third Tuesday's of the Month at 7:30 PM at St. Edward the Confessor
Parish Center Social Hall.
The FR. Robert Scott
Council works closely with the Saint Edward the Confessor's Parish in
Clifton Park, NY, providing funds and resources for various projects,
sponsoring family activities, and raising money for local charities and
scholarships. Many members are also active participants in the parish
supporting ministries such as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers,
and Catechist. Our Council is built on family, faith and friendship.
