KINDERGARTEN FAITH FORMATION CLASSES INFORMATION

Classes run on Thursdays.

A.M. class times are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
P.M. class times are from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    

The Kindergarten Faith Formation program is a wonderful opportunity to introduce the children to their Catholic faith in a safe, nurturing environment!  Each class begins with a short prayer and several prayers are taught throughout the year including the “Glory Be”, the “Our Father” and the “Hail Mary”.   We utilize the Sadlier “We Believe” Kindergarten books.  Our curriculum covers such topics as learning about the world that God gave to us and how we can help take care of it, how much God loves each of us and how each of us are very special.  We also learn about how we can share our love with others.  In addition, the children are introduced to the bible and we learn some bible stories. The culmination of the Kindergarten program includes a graduation ceremony on the last day of class.
 
In order to be eligible, the students must be entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2008. The St. Edward’s Faith Formation classes follow the Shenendehowa School calendar.


Catechists, Classroom Aides and Substitute Catechists are always needed for all grade levels.  If this is something that interests you, please contact the  Faith Formation Office at 371-7372, Ext. 231.
