Bereavement Support Group

Wednesdays Beginning October 1st

A bereavement support group for anyone who is mourning the death of a loved one will begin meeting at St. Edward's the week of October 1st at 6:30 PM.

The group will meet for 8 consecutive weeks. If you are interested in attending, need more information, or know of someone

Travel-Sized Gifts For The Elderly

Collecting 10/4 - 11/14

Our first graders will be packing Personal Care bags for the elderly. These will be distributed through agencies around the area for Christmas.

We will be collecting new, unopened travel-sized personal care items from October 4th through November 14th.

We are in need of:

  • Soap
  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Lotion
  • Deodorant
  • Toothpaste & Mouthwash
  • Kleenex
  • Chapstick

There will be bins in the atrium for these items. Please place the items in the appropriate bins. Thank you for your continued support!

All parish catechetical, faith formation, and ministry leaders are welcome to this day of formation that will help you fulfill the Great Commission.

Diocesan Unleashing Love Women's Conference

Saturday, October 18th, 8 AM - 4 PM

The Unleashing Love Women’s Conference empowers women to open their hearts to God’s love. The day includes Mass, Reconciliation, Rosary/Adoration, small group connections, and keynote speakers Sr. Susan Zemgulis, OP, and Danielle Bean.

Saturday, 10/18, 8 am - 4 pm, St. Edward the Confessor Church, Clifton Park.


Early registration: $40 pp until October 6th, regular registration: $45 pp October 6th -17th, day of registration $50 pp. College-age & younger women are FREE, but need to register.

Boscov's Friends Helping Friends

This year’s Boscov’s fundraiser for the K of C will be held on Wednesday, 10/22 at Boscov’s from 8 AM - 11 PM. Coupons for up to 25% off on certain items will be sold for five dollars at all Masses the weekends of October 11-12 & October 18-19. What a great way to begin your Christmas shopping! Memorial Service For The Deceased

Sunday, November 2nd, 6 PM

Please join us on Sunday, November 2 nd at 6 PM in the Church for

an Evening of Remembrance. We invite all families and friends to come together to honor our loved ones, with music, readings, and a time for reflection. If you have experienced the death of a family

member this year, please contact Mary Ann at 518-371- 7372 ext. 224 so we can remember your loved one during the service.

Our Tree of Remembrance has been placed outside under the portico and will shine every evening beginning at sunset and remain lit throughout the night during the month of November. The tree is a

sign that we will always remember and celebrate all those who have gone before us.
